Meet the Artist

Hi, I'm Lacey, the artist behind by.lacederosa.

For as long as I can remember, art has been a part of my life. What began as a childhood love for drawing has evolved into a deeper exploration of beauty, emotion, and imagination.

While I've always loved creating, painting is something I discovered much later. I unexpectedly fell in love with shimmering watercolors and the way they interact with light. Its like paintings in jewelry.

I'm a self-taught, New Jersey-based artist drawn to the delicate balance between realism and fantasy. My work often explores the beauty of the natural world, feminine and sensual forms, and the unexpected details that make something feel a little otherworldly. Somewhere between reality & reverie.

I don't believe in limiting myself to one subject or style. Instead, I create what inspires me, allowing curiosity and intuition to guide the process. Whether it's a delicate botanical, a surreal composition, or something deeply personal, my goal is to create artwork that feels both intimate and captivating.

Every piece is thoughtfully created by hand, with an appreciation for the little details that make original art so special.
